Ryan Williams, MA

Brooklyn Psychoanalyst

I believe that the key to successful therapy is finding the right therapist for you. I am committed to working with my patients to see if we are a good fit. I have experience with teens, adults and couples, and can work with a variety of complaints, from career troubles to depression and anxiety to personality disorders and more.

Warren Holt, Licensed Psychoanalyst

I am a psychoanalyst steeped in Freud and Lacan. My job is to help you find a way out of your anxieties and for you to get your desire flowing with a zest for life, and with freedom from the frustrating patterns you find yourself in. I use a psychoanalytic process which addresses the cause of the problems, not just the symptoms, resulting in continual benefits beyond temporary relief. For many, I recommend psychoanalysis, an intense approach for those seeking to realize deep personal change. Most of the people I have worked with have not only resolved the issues that brought them into treatment; they have improved their personal relationships, their physical health and have gained a renewed sense of purpose in life. I specialize in helping people with anxiety, depressive problems and relationship issues.

Depth Psychology

We are all substantially flawed, wounded, angry, hurt, here on earth. But this human condition, so painful to us, and in some ways shameful- because we feel we are week when the reality of ourselves is exposed- it is made much more bearable when is shared, face to face, in words that have expresive human eyes behind them. "Anything we love can be saved" by Alice Walker.

Psychoanalysis and Psychoanalytic Consultation in Indiana

I see psychoanalysis as therapeutic work that liberates and heals us to be truly ourselves, find our own voice, and develop real, trusting relationships in love and work. Trained as a psychoanalyst at the National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis (NPAP) in New York City, I am currently an Associate Professor training new clinicians in a Masters of Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, Indiana. I maintain a private practice in psychoanalysis and mental health counseling and specialize in private psychoanalytic consultation at the CTS Counseling Center. A past president of the Indiana Society for Psychoanalytic Thought, I run a psychoanalytically focused consultation group for licensed clinicians who are psychodynamically oriented, including psychoanalysts, psychologists, mental health counselors, marriage and family therapists, social workers. Licensed as a mental health counselor in the state of Indiana and as a psychoanalyst in New York, I am available to do online psychoanalytic therapy and supervision (in Indiana and New York) and psychoanalytic consultation for clinicians in other states as well.
