Amy S. Albert, MA, LMFT, LPCC

Psychotherapy seeks to resolve the conflicts that cause us to be at war with ourselves. It brings about sustainable and lasting change by breaking harmful cycles so that we can achieve a sense of wholeness, freedom, and well-being. The work you and I will do together is a collaborative undertaking. Together, we'll focus on healing what you’re struggling with by examining past traumas, with the ultimate goal of strengthening your relationship with yourself, with others, and with the world. I use a broad, modern, relational approach that’s equal parts deep and practical. If therapeutic orientation were a neighborhood, you’d find me at the intersection of the study of attachment, trauma, and the science of emotions. Why not call me for a free consultation to see if we might be a good fit? To learn more, go to amysalbert.com.

Psychoanalyst

My desire to work as an analyst emerges from my deep and abiding belief that transformation, growth, and a sense of peace is possible. I believe that happens best in a space where one can be truly heard and seen as well as held in my mind and heart. My work as an analyst, much like my work as an artist, is a passionate endeavor. I work with individuals suffering with depression, anxiety, social isolation, and a variety of phobias. I have also worked for many years with individuals living with a variety of personality disorders. I have extensive experience working with individuals who are experiencing challenges, conflicts, and/or confusion with sexuality, sexual impulsivity, gender identity, infertility, and adoption.
